Misc Deaths

There are times when death certificates are unavailabe for research. They may be lost, destroyed, misfiled, illegible,
or simply not a requirement for the time frame. There are numerous sources for approximate dates or "dead by..." dates.
That may be as close as you can ever get or it might be just enough information to track down a wayward certificate. Court
records, guardianship records, tax lists and real estate transactions are among numerous sources. References to these
can often be found in newspapers. In the list below, a person being listed twice means that there are actually two separate
references to them. Those not noted as deceased play some other role such as administrator, guardian, or family member.
