Norris, George W., captain Company D. Born December 18, 1830, at Dayton, Ohio. Came to Peru, Indiana, in 1859. Was 1st sergeant
to January 1, 1863, 2d lieutenant to August 22, 1863, 1st lieutenant to May 30, 1865; then captain to muster out. He was faithful and
a good officer. His present address is unknown.
